Island Trial

Island Trial is a 15-player battle royale event where lords fight across an island map, scavenging items from buildings while a shrinking Poison Fog forces survivors into tighter spaces. The goal is simple: be the last lord remaining.

Island Trial event screen

  • Castle Level 25+ to participate
  • Event runs for approximately 4 days
  • Matches are only available during specific time windows each day — check the event screen for your server’s schedule
  • Tap Match when a time slot opens to enter the battlefield

Queue screen with 3 formations

Before entering a match, set up your hero formations in the Queue screen. You can prepare up to 3 lineups (a 4th slot may unlock later). Tap Sync All to copy your current formations, or configure each queue individually with Select Lineup.

Your lineups battle automatically when you encounter another player — you don’t control combat directly. Bring your strongest team in Queue 1 and backup formations in Queues 2 and 3, since a defeated lineup can be revived with items.

March between buildings

The battlefield is an island dotted with buildings. You march between buildings to explore them, collect items, avoid Poison Fog, and fight other players. You can change direction midway while traveling to a building — useful for dodging a player you spot heading to the same location.

Collect resources from buildings

When you arrive at a building and complete exploration, you collect the resources and items inside. Buildings are your primary source of battlefield items that can swing fights in your favor. Loot early and loot often.

Poison Fog shrinks toward the center

The Poison Fog continuously spreads toward the center of the island. If you stay in the fog, your troops take damage — so you must keep moving inward as the safe zone shrinks. This mechanic forces all 15 players into increasingly fewer buildings, guaranteeing encounters as the match progresses.

PvP triggers when players meet in a building

When two lords enter the same building, their lineups are automatically matched to fight. After each battle round, a rest period begins where you can use items or march to another building before fighting again. Combat is automatic based on your queue lineups — the preparation you do before the match matters more than anything during it.

Battlefield items

Items found in buildings and airdrops are the great equalizer. Using them wisely gives weaker players a real chance to beat stronger opponents. Airdrops periodically appear on the map with large amounts of items and resources — they’re worth contesting.

Champion rewards

Rewards are based on your actions during the match — not just survival placement. The last lord standing earns the Champion title. Even if you don’t win, active participation (exploring, fighting, using items) contributes to your reward total.

  • Sync your best formations — Queue 1 should be your absolute strongest lineup. Queues 2 and 3 are backups in case a lineup gets knocked out.
  • Check the time windows — matches only run during specific hours. Set a reminder so you don’t miss your slot.
  • Spread out and loot — rush to buildings away from the center where fewer players will land. Collect items before fighting.
  • Stockpile Revival Potions and Healing Scrolls — these are your lifeline in late-game fights.
  • Grab Antidotes early — they’re most effective on first use and weaken with each consecutive use, so save them for when the fog gets tight.
  • Watch the fog — don’t get caught outside the safe zone. Move toward center buildings before the fog reaches you.
  • Use Traps defensively — place a Trap in a building you’re occupying to damage anyone who enters.
  • Redirect your march — if you see another player heading to the same building, change direction to avoid an early fight you’re not ready for.
  • Use Fire Bottles and Gunpowder Barrels — when buildings are scarce, offensive items become critical. Fire Bottle hits all enemies in a building without hurting you. Gunpowder Barrel is more powerful but damages everyone, including your own troops.
  • Imprisonment Cage is a finisher — trapping an enemy in a building for 30 seconds while the fog closes in is devastating.
  • Protective Barrier before entering contested buildings — blocks one hit from Fire Bottle, Trap, or Gunpowder. Save it for the final circles.
