Behemoths
Guardian behemoths are faction-specific creatures you deploy alongside your heroes to boost your entire team. Each faction has two behemoths — one attack-focused, one defense-focused — and you can deploy two behemoths at once to stack their effects.
Leveling and starring your behemoths is one of the highest-impact investments in the game. A single star upgrade can roughly double the hero attack and HP bonuses your behemoth provides.
How Behemoths Work
Section titled “How Behemoths Work”- Each behemoth is tied to a faction (Horde, League, or Nature)
- You deploy behemoths into your lineup — they passively buff all your heroes
- You can place two behemoths in your lineup simultaneously
- Behemoths level up with magicite and star up with magic cores
- Every behemoth has a faction sync skill that boosts heroes of its faction and a rank suppression skill that scales with star rank
Behemoths by Faction
Section titled “Behemoths by Faction”| Behemoth | Focus | Skill 1 | Skill 2 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wolf Pack Command | Defense | Shield-based protection for all heroes | — |
| Golden Scorpion | Attack | Deals 500% ATK to all enemies, reduces healing received by 10% for 4s | Venomous Sting — reduces enemy defense (max 2,800) for 8s |
Golden Scorpion’s healing reduction and defense shred both scale with rank. If you run a Horde team, the attack bonuses from Golden Scorpion may be more valuable than Wolf Pack Command’s shield.
League
Section titled “League”| Behemoth | Focus | Skill 1 | Skill 2 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Original behemoth | Attack | Attack-focused damage skill | — |
| Frenzied Blade Alman | Defense | Grants a shield (based on behemoth HP) to all heroes — absorbs 40% damage for 6s, heroes gain HP drain while shielded | Shield Break — all allied heroes gain 10% shield break for 8s |
Alman’s shield break is particularly useful against Horde teams running Shadow Priest, who applies shields to all heroes. Both shield value and HP drain scale with rank.
Nature
Section titled “Nature”| Behemoth | Focus | Skill 1 | Skill 2 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Original behemoth | Attack | Attack-focused damage skill | — |
| Icy Phoenix | Defense | Everfrost Sanctuary — shield equal to 15% of Phoenix HP, absorbs 40% damage, heroes gain 3% HP drain | Shield Break — 10% shield break for 8s |
Icy Phoenix is very similar to the League’s Frenzied Blade Alman — both provide shields and shield break. The survivability from Icy Phoenix may be more valuable for Nature teams than the original attack-focused behemoth.
Leveling and Starring
Section titled “Leveling and Starring”Magicite (Leveling)
Section titled “Magicite (Leveling)”Magicite raises your behemoth’s level, which increases all of its stat bonuses. Level all your behemoths with magicite — the attribute conversion rate and all-hero bonuses apply regardless of faction.
Aim for at least level 19 on each behemoth to unlock the faction-specific boosts and all-hero attribute bonuses.
Magic Cores (Starring)
Section titled “Magic Cores (Starring)”Magic cores are used every 10 levels to star up your behemoth. Save magic cores for your main faction’s behemoth only. Star upgrades are where the biggest power jumps come from:
- Going from 0 stars to 1 star roughly doubles your hero attack and HP bonuses
- Each subsequent star provides significant increases to all bonuses
- Rank suppression (unlocked through stars) grants behemoth energy, max HP damage, and increased guardian behemoth HP
Hero Level Cap
Section titled “Hero Level Cap”Behemoth level milestones unlock hero level cap increases. At level 20, your behemoth allows all heroes to gain one additional level. Each subsequent rank-20 milestone adds another level.
Strategy
Section titled “Strategy”- Max star your main faction behemoth first. Get one behemoth to 4-star before investing in a second. The rank suppression bonus from high stars is too valuable to split resources early.
- Then start your second behemoth. Pick the one whose skills complement your team — attack or defense based on what you need.
- Newer servers may unlock both behemoths for a faction at the same time. If so, choose based on the skills above rather than defaulting to the older one.
- Horde players may prefer Golden Scorpion’s attack and healing reduction over Wolf Pack Command’s shield.
- League and Nature players may prefer the new defensive behemoths (Alman / Icy Phoenix) over the original attack-focused ones, since survivability matters more for those factions.
- Save resources for behemoth leveling events — there are race events where leveling behemoths earns extra rewards. Stockpile magicite and scrolls to maximize value.
