Epic Hero Passive Traits
Epic heroes unlock a powerful account-wide passive trait at 2-Star Platinum. Unlike combat stats that only help the hero themselves, these traits apply globally — boosting your entire account’s progression speed regardless of which heroes you deploy.
Because the bonuses are permanent and affect everything from research to gathering, investing in epic hero traits is one of the highest-value upgrades in the game.
How It Works
Section titled “How It Works”- Promote an epic hero to 2-Star Platinum — this unlocks their Skill 3 (passive trait)
- Level the trait up to 30 — each level increases the bonus percentage
- The bonus applies account-wide — it’s always active, even when the hero isn’t deployed
At max level (30), each trait provides a +30% bonus to its respective stat.

Priority Order
Section titled “Priority Order”Not all traits are equally impactful. Here’s the recommended upgrade order:
Tier 1 — Upgrade First
Section titled “Tier 1 — Upgrade First”| Priority | Hero | Trait | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Brawler | Tech Research Speed | Research is the longest bottleneck in the game. A 30% speed boost saves days of real time and accelerates every other system that depends on tech |
| 2 | Knight | Training Speed | Troops are essential for everything — PvP, PvE, gathering, events. Faster training means faster recovery after losses and quicker army scaling |
Tier 2 — Strong Value
Section titled “Tier 2 — Strong Value”| Priority | Hero | Trait | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3 | Ranger | Ruby Gathering Speed | Rubies are the scarcest gathering resource and in constant demand for upgrades |
| 4 | Rogue | Stone Gathering Speed | Stone is consumed heavily for castle and building upgrades |
| 5 | Outlaw | Wood Gathering Speed | Wood is needed in large quantities but is easier to gather than rubies or stone |
Tier 3 — Situational
Section titled “Tier 3 — Situational”| Priority | Hero | Trait | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| 6 | Priest / Priestess / Dancer | Wounded Healing Rate | Useful after large battles, but wounded healing is less of a bottleneck than research, training, or gathering. All three heroes give the same trait — pick whichever is easiest to promote |
- Start with your own faction’s heroes. You’ll naturally have more copies of same-faction epics, making promotion cheaper. If you’re Horde, Brawler and Rogue are easy targets.
- Don’t ignore cross-faction epics. The tavern and various events hand out epic hero shards for all factions. Knight (League) is worth promoting even if you main Horde or Nature.
- The healing traits stack — if you promote all three healing heroes, their bonuses combine. However, this is low priority compared to research and training speed.
- Epic heroes are cheap to promote. Compared to legendary or mythic heroes, epics require far fewer copies and resources to reach 2-Star Platinum. This makes passive traits one of the most accessible power boosts in the game.
