Tidecaller

Tidecaller

Tidecaller is a Mythic Nature Damage Dealer hero with Control and Summon capabilities. Widely regarded as the best hero in the game, Tidecaller is Nature’s primary carry and the only reliable counter to League shields. He sits in the mid row, summons minions that act as damage sponges, and deals sustained area damage — all while anchoring the entire faction’s survival strategy.

Tidecaller is the #1 upgrade priority for Nature — above all other heroes, including other mythics. His exclusive weapon, the Divine Trident, is the single highest UW investment priority in the faction. The Divine Trident’s shield-breaking capability is the primary way Nature fights back against League’s dominant shield mechanics.

  • Lv. 5 — [Additional trident effect at level 5]
  • Lv. 10 — Enables the shield-break trigger, critical for fighting League — this is the key breakpoint to reach first.
  • Lv. 15 — [Additional trident effect at level 15]
  • Lv. 20 — Maximum power level; 990 shards required from +10 to +20.

Note: You need Rose Princess’s UW to activate the shield trigger on Tidecaller. Consider grabbing Altar Marshal’s UW first (cheaper at 270 shards vs Tidecaller’s 295 for +9 to +10) before committing to Tidecaller’s higher tiers.

Tidecaller’s full skill details are being collected. The information below reflects what is currently documented.

Tidecaller deals area damage and applies control effects from the mid row. His kit revolves around sustained output and summoning water-based minions that absorb hits for the team.

Tidecaller’s summons are central to Nature’s survival strategy. The minions act as damage sponges, redirecting enemy attacks away from fragile heroes. Forest Maiden’s and Monk’s shields scale with minion health, so keeping Tidecaller’s summons alive directly strengthens the whole team’s defenses.

BondHeroesEffect
Tidal PactTidecaller + Pixie + MonkDamage Reduction −15%

The Tidal Pact bond is one of Nature’s two defensive bonds providing 15% damage reduction. Running this bond in the endgame team alongside the Monk + Altar Marshal bond gives the team a combined 30% damage reduction — which is central to Nature’s survival gameplan.

Recommended: Fury of Blood — Tidecaller needs to survive long enough to deal damage and keep summons active. Alternatively, Glory of the Knight provides more skill damage and amplification in PvE before Tidecaller is fully invested. Switch to Fury if he’s dying too fast.
