Treeguard is a Legendary Nature Tank hero positioned in the front row. He is the very first Nature legendary available, unlocking at Recruitment Level 3 — earlier than any other Nature hero of his rarity. Treeguard anchors the front row of the starter team alongside Sage and participates in two separate bond synergies, giving him relevance beyond his early-game role.

Treeguard is the #8 upgrade priority for Nature. Despite his lower investment priority in the endgame, he is critical during the early and mid-game phases. He eventually gives up his front row slot to Altar Marshal when Season 1 mythics arrive.
