League Heroes
League is the game’s balanced faction, blending strong frontline tanks with powerful backline damage and support. The faction’s meta revolves around Paragon as the core DPS anchor, with a versatile legendary roster that stays relevant long into the mythic era. League excels at sustained teamfight presence and buff stacking.
League counters Nature, while Nature counters Horde. If Horde is your main queue, League makes an excellent second queue to handle the Nature teams that threaten you.

| | Secret Keeper | Tank | Front | B |

Hero Upgrade Priority
Section titled “Hero Upgrade Priority”Level and invest in these heroes in order. Earlier heroes take priority for XP books, ascension materials, and skill upgrades.
Upgrade Order
Rose Princess is the top trade and level priority — she anchors the frontline and her UW20 is a meta-defining power spike. Paragon follows as League’s DPS engine, with his ultimate capable of nuking entire teams. Adjudicator is third for the shields that keep the team alive. Nun comes next for healing sustain, then Artificer for debuffs and cooldown reduction, and Bard last among the core six. Bishop remains a strong situational pick against summoner-heavy compositions but has fallen out of the standard meta lineup.
Team Recommendations
Section titled “Team Recommendations”Growing Team (Legendary Start)
Section titled “Growing Team (Legendary Start)”Use this team before mythics arrive. Transition heroes out as mythics unlock.
League Starter
Replace Secret Keeper → Rose Princess (Season 1), Astrologer → Paragon (pre-season). Bard slot becomes flexible as mythics fill in.
Meta Endgame Team
Section titled “Meta Endgame Team”The current whale meta across most servers. This lineup provides one bond (15% damage increase) plus the full faction aura.
League Endgame
Hero order in the lineup matters. Almost everyone runs Fury of Blood for HP to survive Horde burst — only Paragon and Artificer use Glory of the Knight for skill amplification.
Mythic Release Timeline
Section titled “Mythic Release Timeline”League’s mythic releases are more spread out than Horde’s, with Paragon arriving early but the full roster taking until Season 3.
| Season | Hero | Replaces |
|---|---|---|
| Pre-season | Paragon | Astrologer (flex slot) |
| Season 1 | Rose Princess | Secret Keeper |
| Season 2 | Bishop | Flexible slot |
| Season 3 | Artificer | Flexible slot |
The League legendary roster stays relevant longer than Horde’s — Adjudicator, Nun, Pyromancer, and Bard all see endgame play even after all mythics are available.
Awakening Priority
Section titled “Awakening Priority”League doesn’t field a full mythic team, so awakening legendaries is essential.
Awakening Order
-
Adjudicator — Top priority. Guardian Discipline and Shield of Faith scale tremendously with awakening, making him an even more dominant frontline anchor.
-
Nun — Second priority. Her healing and team survivability buffs improve meaningfully with awakening tiers.
-
Bard — Third priority. Supports the team with buffs that scale with awakening investment.
Gear Recommendations
Section titled “Gear Recommendations”League’s gear philosophy is simple: stack HP to survive Horde burst. Most heroes run Fury of Blood. Only your damage dealers use Glory of the Knight for skill amplification.
| Hero | Gear Set | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Adjudicator | Fury of Blood | Shield of Faith and Guardian Discipline synergy — needs to stay alive |
| Rose Princess | Fury of Blood | Core tank sustain; needs the HP to anchor the frontline |
| Bard | Fury of Blood | Survivability keeps buffs active longer |
| Paragon | Glory of the Knight | Skill amplification for his team-nuking ultimate — League’s main damage source |
| Artificer | Glory of the Knight | Cooldown reduction and debuff amplification |
| Nun | Fury of Blood | Must survive to keep healing — HP is the priority |
| Bishop | Libram of Light | Divine Light marks reduce defense, stackable 10x (if running Bishop) |
| Pyromancer | Glory of the Knight | Dragon Breath gear skill + team Attack bonus (if running Pyromancer) |
| Astrologer | Titan’s Might | Pure crit and Attack scaling (if running Astrologer) |
Unique Weapon Priority
Section titled “Unique Weapon Priority”Use 5 chests to unlock all UWs to +1 first (5 box required for every UW), then invest deeper in this order:
UW Upgrade Order
Paragon’s Everlasting Justice is the single highest priority — it defines League’s DPS output. Rose Princess UW20 is a game-changer that shifted the entire meta. Bishop UW10 and UW20 are both significant power spikes worth rushing.
Trait Priority
Section titled “Trait Priority”Frontline heroes benefit the most from traits, making them much tougher to kill.
| Priority | Trait | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Crit Resistance | Frontline survivability against crit-heavy opponents |
| 2 | Block | Damage mitigation for tanks |
| 3 | HP Drain | Sustain for mid and back row |
| 4 | Heal Rate | Amplifying Nun’s healing output |
| 5 | Boost Construction | Castle progression acceleration |
| 6 | Skill Damage | Backline DPS amplification |
Prioritize Crit Resistance and Block on Adjudicator and Rose Princess first, then HP Drain on your mid-row carries.
Focus on skins that provide hero HP, crit resistance, and shield values — League needs survivability above all else.
| Hero | Recommended Skin | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Adjudicator | Multiple options | Look for crit resistance or shield value bonuses |
| Nun | Wisdom Goddess (crit damage reduction) or Shining Elegance (shield value + crit resistance) | Both are strong — pick based on what your team lacks |
For your queue skin, use Mayflower — the League-specific skin that also provides PvP march speed in Season 3.
For your troop skin, Heavy Cavalry is preferred for the PvP march speed bonus. If you don’t care about open-world PvP, Knights provide a morale boost useful in all other game modes. Free-to-play players can upgrade Cavalry for a budget PvP march speed option.
Castle Skins
Section titled “Castle Skins”Divine Steed Castle is S-tier for League — the 15% crit rate bonus is huge for Paragon’s ultimate damage, and the skill buffs you and guild members within a three-tile range. Mountain Prime is purely defensive and not recommended.
Pets & Relics
Section titled “Pets & Relics”Eggy is the primary League pet — she boosts all League hero attack and HP percentage and is the easiest pet to obtain even as a free-to-play player, since Eggy drops frequently.
Relics
Section titled “Relics”Paying players: Run the League faction relic set — Petrification Staff (available around Season 1), Soul Guard Orb (Season 3), and Feather of the Pact (Season 3). The set bonuses are significant.
Free-to-play players: Use this combination:
- Marshall’s Warhorn — unlocked very early, easiest epic to level. Increases hero attack speed by 10% and provides soldier attack bonuses that scale with level
- Duke’s Signet Ring — provides crit damage reduction and lowers enemy crit resistance
- Moonstone — CC with knockup, decreases enemy damage, and provides some healing
Behemoths
Section titled “Behemoths”League has two faction-specific guardian behemoths:
| Behemoth | Type | Skill |
|---|---|---|
| Vampire (Ema) | Offensive | League-specific hero bonuses and burst damage |
| Frenzy Blade Almond | Alternative | Secondary option based on server release order |
Vampire is the recommended choice — League needs the extra attack to break down opposing teams. The burst damage helps prevent enemy healing and lets your ultimates finish them off. Focus on one behemoth until you unlock rank suppression, then go back and star up the other.
Strategy Notes
Section titled “Strategy Notes”-
HP is the League identity: Almost every hero runs Fury of Blood because surviving Horde’s burst damage is the single most important factor. Only Paragon and Artificer break this rule for skill amplification.
-
Paragon gear transition: Paragon performs better with Knight Glory gear until UW20, where Titan’s Might becomes superior thanks to improved cast time. Plan your gear swap around this milestone.
-
Rose Princess UW20 impact: Rose Princess UW20 changed the whole game dynamic, making her one of the strongest tanks in the game and forcing Nature to adjust their hero choices to counter. This is why she’s the top trade priority.
-
Divine Steed crit synergy: The Divine Steed Castle skin’s 15% crit rate bonus synergizes perfectly with Paragon’s ultimate, enabling massive nuke potential. Prioritize this castle skin if you main League.
-
Bishop as situational pick: Bishop has fallen out of the standard meta lineup (replaced by the Adjudicator/Rose Princess/Bard/Paragon/Artificer/Nun core), but remains essential against Nature’s summoner-heavy compositions. His Fair Strike deals +200% to summons and Confession applies Vulnerable.
-
Faction counter awareness: League beats Nature, Nature beats Horde. If Horde is your main queue, League is the ideal second queue to handle Nature opponents that threaten your primary lineup.
-
PvP march speed: Run Heavy Cavalry troop skin for the PvP march speed bonus, same as Horde. Being able to attack and return to defend your castle before opponents arrive is a huge open-world PvP advantage.
